China Baowu Steel Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Baowu" or "Baowu") held an international procurement centralized signing ceremony at the 8th China International Import Expo, and completed a new round of procurement cooperation agreements with more than 10 global supplier partners.

These supplier partners include globally renowned companies such as Primetals Technologies, Fives DMS, GFM, SMS Group, Indah Group, Georg, J.M. Voith SE & Co.KG, JFE, Eurasian Resources, Mongolian Energy, UAE Samango Chromium Company, Indonesian Nickel Mining Company (PT Ceria Nugraha Indotama), and France's Ehrmann Group. The agreements cover intelligent low-carbon metallurgical equipment, high-quality raw materials and fuels such as iron ore, chromium ore, manganese ore, ferroniobium, ferronickel, and coal, as well as metal materials. These resources will be used for process upgrades, product structure optimization, and efficiency improvements in the high-end production lines of Baowu's steel bases, helping Baowu provide higher-quality, more advanced, and greener products to global users.

At this year's China International Import Expo (CIIE), Baowu Steel Group, under the theme of "Openness and Collaboration for a Shared Future," held a high-level international procurement signing ceremony focusing on accelerating the cultivation and development of new high-quality productivity and promoting green and low-carbon transformation. This is not only a concrete action by Baowu to deepen cooperation with its global supplier partners, but also indicates that new equipment, new materials, and new products representing cutting-edge global innovation and advanced manufacturing technologies will soon be applied in a wide range of scenarios within Baowu's steel manufacturing operations.

During this CIIE, Baowu shared the stage with 290 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders, forming a powerful synergy to promote global open cooperation. As one of the first 14 major purchasers, Baowu also participated for the first time in the "Central Enterprises Trade Delegation Purchaser Corridor," showcasing its comprehensive global supply chain system, its "1+3+2" industrial system (steel manufacturing, green resources, smart services, advanced materials, industrial real estate, and industrial finance) through a full-scale on-site display throughout the exhibition, directly presenting the diverse procurement needs and broad application scenarios of Baowu's comprehensive global supply chain system.

It is understood that Baowu also held the 2025 New Low-Carbon Metallurgical Modern Industrial Chain Co-chain Action and China Baowu Global Procurement Supply Chain Partner Conference during the CIIE, joining hands with nearly 150 suppliers from around the world to promote upstream and downstream collaborative cooperation and integrated development, create a world-class procurement supply chain, and further extend the "spillover effect" of the CIIE from "inside the venue" to "outside the venue", linking a high-quality ecosystem of close collaboration and value creation across the entire chain.
